Mason Hayes & Curran has partnered with the Trinity Corporate Governance Lab as its legal knowledge partner.

The Corporate Governance Lab, an initiative of the Business School at Trinity College Dublin, explores and defines corporate governance best practice. It aims to bridge the gap between academic research and industry experience through innovative projects and cutting-edge collaborative research.

Claire Lord, head of corporate governance at Mason Hayes & Curran, said: “The corporate governance landscape is rapidly evolving, and we are working closely with clients to build resilient governance structures that enable them to navigate this dynamic environment.

“We are pleased to bring our legal expertise to the Lab, and to help redefine governance practices for today’s complex business world.”

As legal knowledge partners, the business law firm will provide insights to support the Lab’s research initiatives and advance its mission of enhancing governance standards.

Professor Laurent Muzellec, Dean of Trinity Business School, said: “By combining academic rigour with legal and industry expertise, this partnership aims to develop practical solutions that address real-world challenges faced by Irish businesses, transforming them for good by fostering sustainable growth and responsible practice.”

Dr Daniel Malan, director of the Trinity Corporate Governance Lab, added: “We are delighted to partner with Mason Hayes & Curran. The firm’s legal prowess and extensive client experience will help ensure our research is grounded in current market realities.”
