Mason Hayes & Curran promotes four to partner
Mason Hayes & Curran has promoted Angela Freeman, Fiona McNulty, Kim Bowen and Stephen Cowhey to partner.
Ms Freeman, newly-appointed corporate partner, specialises in the technology and life sciences sectors. Experienced in complex domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, she also helps companies secure venture capital, execute private equity transactions, and implement strategic reorganisations to enhance their market position and accelerate growth.
A graduate of University College Dublin, she is dual-qualified as a solicitor in Ireland and in England and Wales.
Ms McNulty, new partner in the firm’s health and prosecutions team, has substantial experience advocating for healthcare clients and helping large corporate firms navigate the complexities of criminal and investigations legislation as it may sometimes apply to their businesses.
A graduate of Trinity College Dublin, she sits on the Council of the Law Society of Ireland, on the board of the Irish Family Planning Association, and is a long-standing committee member of the Irish Women Lawyers’ Association. She was also featured as Irish Legal News’ Lawyer of the Month in October 2023.
Ms Bowen, new partner in the employment law and benefits team, specialises in business immigration. She advises SMEs and large multinational corporations on employing non-EEA nationals in Ireland, assisting them in obtaining a wide range of employment authorisations. Her practice spans all sectors, with a particular focus on technology, healthcare and life sciences.
A graduate of University College Dublin, she is a member of the Law Society of Ireland, along with the American Immigration Lawyer Association, the WERC Immigration Work Group and the Irish Immigration Lawyers Association (IILA).
Mr Cowhey is a new partner in the firm’s energy and built environment teams. He helps clients through the entire project lifecycle, from development and financing to operation and sale. Having worked on some of the largest renewable financing transactions in Ireland, he has significant expertise in advising both project developers and funders.
He is a graduate of the University of Limerick and his professional memberships include the Law Society of Ireland, Wind Energy Ireland and the Irish Solar Energy Association.
