Matheson LLP has promoted 14 lawyers to partner across nine practice areas, bringing the firm’s total number of partners and tax principals to 121.
The new partners are Robert Barrett, Enda Garvey and Robert Maloney Derham in the corporate M&A team; Conor Blennerhassett in corporate energy and infrastructure; Finnbahr Boyle and Alan Bunbury in finance and capital markets; Michelle Daly and Dara Higgins in tax; Orlaith Finan and Eunan Hession in asset management; Gráinne Boyle in the international business group; Aisling Kavanagh in commercial litigation and dispute resolution; Ian O’Mara in the corporate financial institutions group; and Hilda Wrixon in commercial real estate.
Three of the partners — Mr Bunbury, Mr Boyle and Mr O’Mara — are based in Matheson’s new central London office.
Commenting on the promotions, Michael Jackson, managing partner of Matheson, said: “We are delighted to welcome these 14 skilled lawyers to our partnership.
“It is particularly pleasing to see such a large and diverse range of practice areas represented in these appointments, something which reflects the broad sectoral composition of our client base and the continued growth and success of the firm across all practice areas.
“These promotions are a further endorsement of Matheson’s people strategy and our ongoing investment in talent. They are representative of the breadth and scope of the technical and legal knowledge which is nurtured across the firm.
“I congratulate them on their appointments, and I look forward to working with them closely over the coming years.”
