McCann FitzGerald to review RTÉ exit schemes
McCann FitzGerald has been appointed by RTÉ to investigate two controversial voluntary exit schemes operated by the broadcaster.
The firm has begun work on the review and is expected to present a completed report to RTÉ bosses in September, The Irish Times reports.
In an update to staff, RTÉ director-general Kevin Bakhurst said the conclusions of the report would be made available to the public, “minus any exclusions necessary under data protection legislation”.
In July, the government commissioned two separate and parallel reviews into RTÉ, which are expected to take six months to complete.
