Mr Lee, a member of the firm’s medical law team, passed away on Friday 22 November and his funeral took place in Skerries yesterday.

He undertook both his internship and traineeship within Mason Hayes & Curran and qualified in January 2022.

In a statement, the firm said: “His friends remember him for not only being a proud parent of his two dogs, Xena and Izzy, but for also being the father figure in his trainee intake.

“He was confident in his abilities, caring and unflappable by nature, and knew what he wanted from life.

“With his infectious laugh, quick wit, and (at times) his interesting interpretation of what was considered appropriate work attire, our memories with Mikey over the years will live on.

“Mikey always took pride in his work and will be sadly missed as part of his team and the firm.”
