MKB Law announces charity partnership with Depaul
Belfast-based MKB Law has announced a new charity partnership with Depaul, which supports individuals, couples and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Since its establishment in Ireland in 2002 and Northern Ireland in 2005, Depaul has grown to become a significant leader in the homeless sector addressing homelessness across the country.
The charity focuses on five main areas of service provision: prevention, families and young people, high support accommodation, health and rehabilitation, and housing.
Anne Marie Kelly, director at MKB Law, said: “The last year and a half has presented challenges for many people, and we must keep in mind that homelessness is regrettably something that everyone may be vulnerable to, often due to sudden and unexpected changes in personal circumstances.
“After our successful partnership with Action Mental Health last year, we felt that working with an organisation in the homeless sector was the next natural progression for our firm. All the team at MKB Law are excited to work with Depaul and help do our part to ensure that everyone has a safe place to call home.”
Mairéad McGinn, director of fundraising and communications at Depaul, said: “We are delighted that MKB Law has chosen to support Depaul, joining us as a new corporate partner. Their support will allow us to continue to be there for those who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness.”
