Nasc appoints Fiona Hurley as policy and communications manager
Nasc, the Migrant and Refugee Rights Centre, has announced the appointment of Fiona Hurley as its new policy and communications manager.
Ms Hurley was previously legal service manager at Nasc, having joined the immigration rights NGO’s legal service in 2010.
The legal service provided support to 1,318 people in 2017, according to its most recent impact report.
Ms Hurley holds a Bachelor of Law degree (BCL) and a Masters in Laws (LLM) from University College Cork, as well as a diploma in Leadership and Management.
She has extensive experience in immigration and protection law as well as providing capacity building and training to organisations on immigration law and its intersection with housing, social welfare, education and health entitlements.
