Mayo firm P. O’Connor & Son appoints two new partners
Co Mayo firm P. O’Connor & Son has announced the appointment of Gina Mullen and Siobhán Durkan as partners.
Ms Mullen and Ms Durkan join existing partners Patrick O’Connor, Samantha Geraghty and William O’Connor, bringing the 122-year-old firm’s partner count to five.
A specialist in residential conveyancing, banking law and security and probate, Ms Mullen has nearly a decade of experience as a solicitor, having qualified in April 2012.
She was previously admitted to the roll of legal executives in 2004 following the completion of her diploma in legal studies at Griffith College.
Ms Durkan, a native of Lurga, Charlestown, relocated to Mayo in 2017, having practised in Dublin for over 12 years, specialising in commercial and residential property, banking law and security. She previously worked as an in-house solicitor with Bank of Ireland.
She was admitted to the roll of solicitors in 2005 after graduating from University College Dublin (UCD) with a law degree. She is also qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.
