The Shared Goals series will will hear from leading experts, activists, and practitioners on a range of pressing human rights issues.

The first episode sees Ms Cunningham, acting policy and public affairs manager at NSPCC Northern Ireland, join the Commission to discuss a number of issues including equal protection for physical punishment for children.

Currently, the law in Northern Ireland allows for a parent, or someone caring for or in charge of a child, to use physical punishment, through a legal defence of ‘reasonable punishment’.
