The firm’s new name refers to the names of partners Ronan Hannigan, Colman Bermingham, Liam Moloney and Hugh O’Neill.

Noel Smyth founded the firm in 1978 but gave up an active role in the firm in 1997, moving into property development while staying on as a consultant.

HBMO Solicitors today has a team of 40 staff offering legal services across a broad range of practice areas.

Announcing the firm’s new name on LinkedIn, Mr Hannigan said: “We continue to appreciate the support off all our loyal and valued clients.”
