O’Flynn Exhams Solicitors appoints two new solicitors
Cork-based O’Flynn Exhams (OFX) Solicitors has announced the appointment of Elaine O’Flynn and Liam O’Keeffe as solicitors.
Ms O’Flynn joins the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution team, where she will focus in particular on employment law matters.
She has experience representing and advising a range of clients and state bodies on various employment related matters including unfair dismissals, equality claims, working time claims, bullying and harassment claims, grievance and disciplinary processes and probationary dismissals. She regularly represents clients before the Workplace Relations Commission, Labour Court and High Court.
Prior to joining OFX, Ms O’Flynn trained and qualified with a leading commercial law firm based in Dublin.
Mr O’Keeffe joins the firm’s corporate and commercial department, having recently qualified as a solicitor following the completion of his traineeship with OFX. He previously qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2016 while working with a large Dublin-based accountancy firm.
Over the course of his traineeship, he advised clients on a range of corporate transactions on both a national and international scale involving corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, shareholders agreements and partnership agreements.
Shane Crossan, who was elected last month to serve as OFX’s new managing partner, welcomed the pair to the firm.
He said: “We are delighted to welcome Elaine and Liam to our exceptional team of solicitors at OFX and I know they will both prove to be great assets to us. It has become increasingly difficult to acquire talented solicitors and we are extremely lucky to have such bright young talent like Elaine and Liam joining our team.”
