Olivia O’Kane joins Meta as associate general counsel for EMEA disputes

Belfast solicitor Olivia O’Kane has joined Facebook owner Meta’s Dublin HQ as associate general counsel in the EMEA disputes department.
Ms O’Kane was previously partner and head of media and entertainments at Carson McDowell, Northern Ireland’s largest independent law firm.
She brings over 16 years’ experience as a solicitor, having qualified in Northern Ireland in 2006 and then south of the border in 2014.
Meta employs around 3,000 people in Dublin at its European headquarters based in Grand Canal Square.
