OUTLaw Network announces virtual events for Pride Month 2021
OUTLaw Network, which brings together LGBT+ people and allies in the Irish legal sector, has announced a series of free online events to mark Pride Month 2021.
The events begin next Tuesday 8 June with an electro flow yoga class delivered by Simone Walsh of Forest Yoga to a playlist of Pride tunes.
On Thursday 10 June, OUTLaw will host a panel discussion on trans healthcare in Ireland, hearing from Éiréinne Carroll, CEO of Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI), Noah Halpin, community aid officer at TENI, and Kirstyn Donohoe, the parent of a trans boy.
On Monday 14 June, OUTLaw will hos a “virtual happy hour of cocktails and chats” with Robbie Lawlor, co-founder of ACT UP Dublin and Access to Medicines Ireland, as he shares his journey of living with HIV in Ireland.
Finally, the network will host “musical bingo” on Thursday 24 June, following the traditional rules of bingo but replacing numbers with popular music clips. Players have the opportunity to win one of many spot prizes throughout the event and all attendees will be entered into a raffle at the end of the night for a top prize.
More information about the events is available from the OUTLaw Network website.
