OUTLaw Network plans online Pride events for LGBT+ lawyers
The OUTLaw Network has announced a series of webinars and online social events to mark “a Pride month like no other”.
The network for LGBT+ lawyers will host two webinars this month, an online coffee morning and an online “electro flow yoga class”.
Dr Tanya Ni Mhuirthile, assistant professor in law at DCU, will deliver the first webinar, on Wednesday 17 June, on the interaction between the intersex community and the law.
Dr Mary McAuliffe, assistant professor and lecturer in gender studies at UCD, will deliver the second webinar, on Monday 22 June, on same-sex relationships among Irish revolutionary women, feminist activists and suffragettes.
The online coffee morning on Monday 29 June is designed to serve as “an opportunity for our network to connect, share and generate ideas”.
The final event will see Dubin-based yoga teacher Simone Walsh of Forest Yoga lead an electro flow yoga class to Pride tunes.
