Ms Collins joins as a newly-qualified solicitor and will act in matters of litigation and probate.

A Cork native, she trained in a criminal law firm in Dublin. She is now keen to expand and develop her legal expertise into general practice.

Samantha Geraghty, managing partner of P. O’Connor & Son, said: “We are delighted to welcome Amy to the firm. She is a bright, energetic and talented solicitor who will be a huge asset to our expanding legal services team.

“Amy’s appointment brings the total number of solicitors in the firm to eight, who in turn are supported by an ever increasing team of paralegal and secretarial support.”

Ms Geraghty was appointed to lead the firm in January this year. The firm also recently welcomed Katie Cadden as a senior associate in its commercial department.
