P.A. Duffy & Co Solicitors welcomes trainee
Dungannon-based P.A. Duffy & Co Solicitors has welcomed Ellen Bates as a trainee solicitor.
Ms Bates joined the firm in May 2021, initially as a part-time legal executive, while completing her undergraduate degree at Ulster University. She graduated from her LLB in July with a first class honours degree.
She has now embarked on her solicitor traineeship with P.A. Duffy & Co through the Institute of Professional Legal Studies (IPLS) at Queen’s University Belfast.
She is actively involved in the firm’s private client and alternative dispute resolution departments, as well as the corporate and commercial litigation departments. She has a keen interest in contract law, land law and equity and trusts.
Welcoming her, the firm said: “Ellen Bates is more than just a legal professional; she is an approachable and results-driven advocate for her clients.
“She believes that her primary duty is to enhance the lives of others by handling highly complex legal matters with simplicity, offering clear advice, and striving for the best possible outcomes. Ellen is dedicated to efficiently and effectively representing her clients throughout her legal career.
“Outside of her legal pursuits, Ellen is a dedicated equestrian who finds solace and joy in spending time with friends and family. She is also passionate about the great outdoors and exploring new destinations through travel.
“P.A. Duffy & Company is thrilled to welcome Ellen Bates as she continues to make her mark in the legal profession. We look forward to witnessing her continued growth and contributions to our firm.”
