Peter Mullan

Mr Mullan has served as interim chairperson of the planning body since September 2023, having first been appointed as a temporary board member in January 2023, and will now take up the position on a permanent basis.

A solicitor by profession, he joined the public service in 2012 following almost 20 years in private practice specialising in criminal law and litigation.

He was previously an assistant secretary in the Courts Service, an assistant secretary in the Department of Justice and Equality, and chief prosecution solicitor in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
