Philip Lee appoints new construction partner
Commercial law firm Philip Lee has announced the appointment of Hugh Cummins as a partner.
Having joined in 2012 and promoted to senior associate at the firm, Mr Cummins has considerable experience in construction law, including projects and construction, energy and natural resources, Energy Performance Contracts, Local Energy Supply Contracts, procurement and alternative dispute resolution.
He has advised clients on the drafting, settling and procuring of contractual documentation on a wide range of complex, large-scale mixed-use projects in Ireland both in the public and private sectors.
He regularly contributes articles on construction and energy related issues to professional body publications in the building and engineering sectors. He is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences on sustainable energy and construction.
In addition to being a qualified solicitor, Mr Cummins holds an honours degree in Electronic Engineering and Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin. Prior to joining Philip Lee, he worked in the projects and construction department of a large Dublin commercial law firm.
