Philip Lee appoints Tom Conway as real estate and planning partner
Commercial law specialist firm Philip Lee has announced the appointment of Tom Conway as partner within its real estate and planning department.
He will work under the leadership of partner John O’Donoghue and alongside fellow partner Eimear Fitzgibbon.
Mr Conway specialises in advising on investment and real estate finance, acting for national and international investment funds across a broad range of asset classes, pillar and US/UK banks, private equity investors and institutional landlords and tenants.
He also advises property developers on site assembly, development finance, asset management and disposal. With varied transactional experience in real estate aspects in loan book sales, he also offers his expertise to receivers and liquidators on asset disposal.
In addition, working across all aspects of real estate investment, Mr Conway specialises in counselling lenders and borrowers in traditional and alternative real estate finance transactions.
He has experience in real estate financing and has been involved in a range of projects including international restructurings. He has particular expertise in the acquisition and disposal of shopping centres in both Dublin and the regions, having advised on a range of hospitality sector business and asset sale transactions.
