Ms Hickey has an extensive background in both carbon markets and corporate law, which she will bring to the rapidly evolving intersection of climate change mitigation and corporate transactions.

She will focus on expanding the M&A side of the team to meet the demands of the increased M&A work hitting their desks. 

“We expect investors to start coming back to the table through a combination of debt and, increasingly equity investments, including through acquisitions of talented teams with decades of experience in mitigation activity design, structuring and development,” Ms Hickey said.

“The intersection of climate and M&A presents extraordinary opportunities and I look forward to helping clients navigate deals from large-scale investments to complex corporate deals with the net-zero transition at their core.”
