Following his appointment by Leo Varadkar, the Tánaiste and minster for enterprise, trade and employment, Mr Keenan will serve as the Law Society of Ireland’s representative on the group for a four-year term.

The statutory advisory expert body is charged with advising the minister on the development of company law in Ireland. It seeks to promote enterprise, facilitate commerce and encourage commercial probity.

Mr Keenan has over 27 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer specialising in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, corporate governance and share incentive schemes. He has, in particular, acted on many corporate transactions in the energy, life sciences and technology sectors.
