The Dáil and Seanad XV rugby team will go head-to-head with The Bar of Ireland one week after being bested by the Law Society.

Our correspondent Kevin Burns covered Saturday’s match, in which the Law Society of Ireland beat Dáil and Seanad XV by 5–0. Mark Heslin, partner at Beauchamps Solicitors, scored the winning try.

Now the politicians’ team will seek to best the other half of the legal profession at Donnybrook Stadium this Saturday at 11.30am.

It will be a further match in a regular series of charity games aimed at raising cash for the injured players’ fund of Rugby Players Ireland.

Law firm Whitney Moore is covering the running costs of the matches.
