Production underway on second series of Striking Out

Production on a second series of RTÉ’s Striking Out, Ireland’s first home-grown legal TV drama in years, is now underway.
Amy Huberman, Rory Keenan, Neil Morrissey return for the second series, as do supporting cast members Emmet Byrne and Fiona O’Shaughnessy.
The new series sees solicitor Tara (Huberman) become more confident as her own boss, while confronting “morally challenging scenarios” which “test Tara and her team in their personal and professional lives”.
Connor Beaton reviewed the first episode of Striking Out, which premiered on New Year’s Day, for Irish Legal News in January.
The show was broadcast on RTÉ One, but also became an overseas hit following its launch on streaming service Acorn TV in the US.
