Property lawyer Sharon van Sinderen joins housebuilder as senior counsel
Property lawyer Sharon van Sinderen has been appointed as senior counsel at housebuilder Quintain Ireland.
Ms van Sinderen joins the company from Tuath Housing Association, where she was senior solicitor, and has previously held roles with NAMA and business law firm Mason Hayes & Curran.
Quintain Ireland, which launched late last year, now has a headcount of 22, which it plans to expand to 30 by the end of the year as it progresses the delivery of housing projects around Dublin.
Eddie Byrne, managing partner of Quintain Ireland, said Ms van Sinderen’s appointment would “bring significant in-house legal expertise to the team”.
He added: “When we set up the business last year we were committed to ensuring diversity in our workforce in all its forms. We’re pleased to have a 50/50 gender split at Quintain, which unfortunately is rare in the construction and development sector.
“It is our aim to further grow our headcount in 2020 as we ramp up the delivery of residential and commercial space in the Dublin area.”
