NI: QUB and Ulster University ranked by The Times
Queen’s University Belfast is among the top 10 universities in the UK for law, while Ulster University is in the top 35, according to The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017.
QUB clocks in at number 9 in the league table for law while Ulster University clocks in at number 33.
Of QUB law students, 81.6 per cent are satisfied with the quality of teaching, while 85.9 per cent of Ulster University law students are satisfied with the quality of teaching.
Law students at both universities ranked the student experience positively: 91 per cent were satisfied at QUB while 90 per cent were satisfied at Ulster University.
The Guide states that Ulster University is producing “outstanding results” in law, while also highlighting QUB’s recent £20 million investment in a new School of Law building, which includes “a moot court allowing students to hone their advocacy skills”.
