Retail therapy raises £1,500 for NI Law Society’s chosen charity
The Law Society of Northern Ireland raised over £1,500 in support of Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI at a charity event taking place at Hobbs and Phase Eight stores in Belfast.
Those attending, including senior Northern Ireland legal figures, had the opportunity to network and engage in some retail therapy, availing of a special 20 per cent discount on the night.
Brigid Napier, president of the Law Society, said: “I wish to thank everyone who attended and showed their support in raising this fantastic amount in aid of Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI.
“Not only did we raise funds for a very worthy charity but it was also an excellent opportunity for solicitors and colleagues to come together and network, something we have all missed due to the constraints of the pandemic.
“My special thanks also to Hobbs and Phase Eight who facilitated the event at their Belfast Stores.”
Collette McMorrow from Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI added: “Claire and I were delighted to attend the discount evening. It was lovely to see so many people there, enjoying each other’s company.
“The event was incredibly successful and we want to thank everyone who attended and donated so generously to blood cancer research in Northern Ireland.”
