Review of ethics legislation consultation extended
The closing date for submissions to the public consultation on the review of ethics legislation has been extended.
The consultation, which was launched on 25 November, will now run until 14 January 2022.
Michael McGrath, minister for public expenditure and reform, said: “This review is the start of a process to reform the ethics in public office legislation.
“It is a key commitment in the programme for government and I look forward to hearing the view of all stakeholders on this important public consultation.
“My goal, is to reform the legislation to create a clear and unambiguous ethical framework that supports public governance.”
