Ross White elected to EYBA committee
Northern Ireland Young Solicitors’ Association (NIYSA) chairperson Ross White has been elected to the executive committee of the European Young Bar Association (EYBA).
Mr White, legal counsel at construction group GRAHAM, is one of three executive officers on the newly-elected EYBA committee for 2024/25.
Shannon Gawley, his predecessor as NIYSA chairperson, has been elected as EYBA president.
Mr White and Ms Gawley are the only lawyers from the UK or Ireland serving on the EYBA committee this year.
The other members are immediate past-president Sergiy Barbashyn and secretary Yuliia Serhet from Ukraine, vice-president Chiara Palombi from ITaly, treasurer Bianca-Lucretia Tomescu from Romania, and executive officers Roberto Luz Vieira from Portugal and Fatih Özdemir from Turkey.
