NI: Staff at Mills Selig raise over £600 for suicide prevention charity
Staff at Mills Selig raised £630 for local suicide prevention charity PIPS after a six-hour spin-a-thon outside their Belfast city centre office.
PIPS (Public Initiative for Prevention of Suicide and Self Harm) provides support to people who are considering or have considered ending their own life.
A relay team took turns to complete their spins outside the Arthur Street office while passers-by gave encouragement and support.
Anne Skeggs, property director at Mills Selig, said: “For everyone who donated, supported us and cheered us on, thank you.
“Choosing PIPS as our charity for 2019 was an easy decision for Mills Selig. In the spirit of our own values; exceptional, supportive, positive and teamwork, we wanted to help PIPS in their mission to support anyone who is considering, or at some point considered, ending their own life.”
