Stephanie Coughlan elected as president of Galway Solicitors’ Bar Association
Stephanie Coughlan has been elected as president of the Galway Solicitors’ Bar Association (GSBA) for 2023.
Ms Coughlan, a senior associate at RDJ LLP, succeeds outgoing president John Martin, who remains on the new committee as vice-president.
The other office-holders are Cairbre O’Donnell as treasurer, Joan O’Brien as secretary and Shane Mc Sweeney as press relations officer.
The 10 ordinary committee members are Una O’Donnell, Ronan Murphy, Lesley O’Neill, Rob Meehan, Oliver Foley, Nadine Martin, Catherine Tolan, Eamonn Keane, Lily O’Brien and Lyndsey Dillon.
Commenting on her election, Ms Coughlan told Irish Legal News: “I am delighted to take up the position of president of the Galway Solicitors Bar Association for 2023.
“Thank you to the outgoing president, John Martin, for all his hard work during his term and thank you to the 2023 committee who will work with me to achieve the objectives of the GSBA.
“I look forward to my term ahead and to meeting our members at the social events and CPDs planned for 2023.”
