Stephen Keogh joins UL School of Law as adjunct professor of practice

MHP Sellors managing partner Stephen Keogh has joined University of Limerick’s School of Law as an adjunct professor of practice.
Mr Keogh brings a wealth of experience and expertise in legal practice in Ireland, including as head of a firm which employs over 50 people at its Limerick and Ennis offices.
He has extensive specialist legal experience in advising a broad range of companies and public sector bodies across different sectors in high-value commercial transactions and complex commercial disputes.
He regularly advises boards of directors and shareholders on corporate governance matters, directors’ duties and employment matters.
Professor Lucy-Ann Buckley, head of UL School of Law, said: “UL School of Law’s adjunct professor positions are designed to ensure the appointment of distinguished individuals who have made or have the potential to make significant contributions to the university.
“I am delighted to welcome Mr Keogh to the School of Law. He is eminent and distinguished in legal practice and he will make a tremendous tangible contribution to the School of Law and the University of Limerick, inspiring our students as a role model through his leadership.

In addition to his role at MHP Sellors, Mr Keogh is a member of the board of the Charities Regulator.
He previously served as president of Shannon Chamber of Commerce from 2020 to 2022, and was a member of the Clare Economic Taskforce during the same period.
Mr Keogh holds a BBS in accounting and finance from Trinity College Dublin, a postgraduate diploma in law from Technological University Dublin and a diploma in commercial litigation from the Law Society of Ireland.
He previously contributed to UL School of Law’s law and technology professional diploma.
MHP Sellors also facilitates students from the LLM course in international commercial law, in addition to a much sought-after traineeship programme.
