Struck-off solicitor owes nearly €350k to Revenue
A former solicitor struck off by the High Court now owes nearly €350,000 to Revenue.
A judgment for over €205,000 is the latest in a series of judgments against Orla Ellis, who practised in Co Leitrim, according to the Sunday World.
Ellis was struck off in December after the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal (LPDT) heard that her client account had a deficit of €566,000.
Following the most recent judgment on 30 July, Ellis now owes a total of €348,203 to Revenue.
