Ms O’Leary, originally from Co Kerry, qualified as a barrister in England and Wales in 2014. She holds an LLB in law and European studies from the University of Limerick and an LLM in public international law from the London School of Economics (LSE).

The EHRC panel of counsel is a group of preferred suppliers of legal services who provide advice and representation to support the EHRC’s legal and enforcement work in British and European courts.

Ms O’Leary, who joins the B panel, is one of three lawyers at Cornerstone Barristers to be appointed to the panel.
