Tughans tops Northern Ireland M&A table for H1 2024

Tughans has retained its ranking as Northern Ireland’s most prolific M&A adviser in the first half of 2024.

According to the latest Experian M&A report, there were 112 transactions with a total disclosed value of just under £900 million in the first half of 2024.

Overall, the number of transactions declined by a nominal three per cent — but the total value has risen from just £186 million during the first half of 2023 to the highest figure since 2018.

Tughans advised on 29 transactions, followed by A&L Goodbody on 24, Carson McDowell on 21, Davidson McDonnell Solicitors on 13, Mills Selig on 10, Turley Legal on six, Shoosmiths on four, and CMS, McKees Law and MKB Law each on three.
