US firm K&L Gates to launch Dublin office

US law firm K&L Gates is planning to open an office in Dublin and has hired Irish lawyers Gayle Bowen and Shane Geraghty ahead of its launch, according to reports.
Ms Bowen was the inaugural head of Pinsent Masons’ Dublin office, where she remains a partner leading its Irish asset management and investment funds practice.
Mr Geraghty is a partner in the asset management and investment funds team at Dillon Eustace, specialising in Irish regulated investment funds.
The pair’s appointment was first reported last week by Financial News London. K&L Gates has not responded to a request for comment from Irish Legal News.
