Northern Ireland law firm Walker Legal has announced it is hiring six trainee solicitors, furthering its growth from 10 to 24 lawyers in the past 18 months.

The trainees are joining the Portadown-based firm in its newly-opened Belfast office.

The firm specialises in commercial dispute resolution, corporate, property, wills and estates, claims and family.

Andrew Walker, founder and managing director, said he was “proud” to see the practice growing.

He added: “At Walker Legal we’ve tried to do things differently, to work with and support our staff and to identify the highest level of service to our clients.

“That approach is bearing fruit and we now have a team to be proud of, with more announcements to come. We have launched our new branding, and opened our new Belfast offices in recent times, as well as working hard to build our profile across Northern Ireland.”
