William Fry secures IP award gongs
William Fry has been named Ireland’s trademark disputes firm of the year for a second year running at the annual Managing IP Awards.
Florence Meagher, a senior associate with William Fry who specialises in intellectual property law, also won the inaugural Ireland Rising Star of the Year award.
Ms Meagher has particular experience in non-contentious intellectual property law and intellectual property strategy as well as experience in large-scale, complex commercial litigation.
The Managing IP Awards, now in its 20th year, are one of the most comprehensive and widely respected IP law firm awards event in the legal industry. The programme covers several IP practice areas and more than 50 jurisdictions. Each year research analysts obtain information from thousands of firms, IP practitioners and their clients through interviews, email and online surveys.
Owen O’Sullivan, managing partner at William Fry, said: “These are two important and prestigious awards to win, recognising another strong year for the team with a significant number of standout cases and clients.
“Retaining the trademark disputes award demonstrates our continued dominance in a competitive IP market and I’m particularly delighted that Florence’s hard work has been acknowledged in this inaugural rising star award. Congratulations to all involved.”
