Neurodiversity and Discrimination in Employment Equality Law

This seminar will address neurodiversity and discrimination in employment equality law. It will consider relevant legislation and case law from Ireland, the EU, and other jurisdictions on issues such as the definition of disability, provision of reasonable accommodation, and the interaction with disproportionate burden in reasonable accommodation. It will also consider how case law from abroad could be dealt with under Irish and EU law, including examples of good employment practices in the context of neurodiversity from other jurisdictions.
