Modern Slavery
Irish Legal News is committed to tackling modern slavery in all its forms, including human trafficking, forced labour, debt bondage and involuntary servitude. We recognise that modern slavery continues to take place around the world and that we have a responsibility as a company to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place in our business or in our supply chains.
We have not identified any area of our business as having a high risk of modern slavery. However, we operate robust recruitment and human resources policies to ensure that any issues of concern are identified and addressed. Concerns about modern slavery are brought directly to our managing director.
We expect all of our third-party suppliers and contractors to meet the same high standards in conducting their business worldwide. We regularly review modern slavery statements from our suppliers and contractors to ensure that they have reliable processes in place for identifying and addressing issues of concern. Where our processes bring to light issues of concern which are not addressed when brought to the attention of that supplier or contractor, we will bring that relationship to an end.
We review our policy on modern slavery on an annual basis. This statement covers the year from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023.
