The Labour Court is a quasi-judicial statutory tribunal with responsibility for deciding legal appeals in employment law based disputes and the investigation of employment based trade disputes under the Industrial Relations Acts 1946-2015. It provides independent adjudication in matters of difference between workers and employers and has built a strong reputation for legal competence in employment law and effectiveness in industrial relations.

The Labour Court is now seeking to appoint a Registrar. Subject to the directions of the Chairperson of the Court, they are the legal officer, or law agent of the Court, and are responsible for advising on legal issues affecting the Court.

The successful candidate will be committed to the provision and delivery of excellent legal services and legal advice, with a strong ability to represent the Court in a professional manner across the legal spectrum.
